Admissions Requirements & Eligibility

We welcome high school graduates, GED holders, and anyone 18 or older who is passionate about a career in dental assisting.

No prior dental experience is required – that’s what we’re here to teach you! You’ll need to provide a copy of your high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid ID. If you have any healthcare certifications or relevant experience, that’s great, but not necessary. We believe in giving motivated learners a chance, so our criteria focus on your determination and interest in the field.

How to Apply (It’s Easy!)

1. Complete the Application

Fill out our simple online application form (it only takes about 10 minutes). Tell us a bit about yourself and why you’re interested in dental assisting.

2. Submit Required Documents

Upload a scan or photo of your diploma/GED and ID. Don’t worry – our system is secure, and our admissions team can help if you run into any snags.

3. Application Review

Once we have your application and documents, our admissions committee reviews them quickly. We know you’re eager, so you can expect a response within a few days.

 4. Chat with an Advisor

We may invite you to a friendly phone or Zoom chat. This isn’t a test or formal interview – it’s a chance for us to answer your questions, learn about your goals, and ensure our program is the right fit for you. We love getting to know our future students!

5. Acceptance & Next Steps

Congrats – you’re in! We’ll send an official acceptance email with details on tuition, class schedule options, and an enrollment agreement to secure your spot. Your personal instructor may also reach out to welcome you aboard.

6. Enroll and Begin

After acceptance, you’ll confirm your spot by arranging tuition payment or a payment plan (see our Financial Policy for options). Then you’re all set to start orientation and dive into your first learning module.

Timeline

BrushUp offers rolling admissions, which means you can apply any time of year.

We start new student cohorts multiple times a year (often every month), so you won’t have to wait long to begin your training. For example, if you apply and are accepted in March, you could start with the April class. We’ll clearly communicate the next start date available to you upon acceptance.

If you need to plan further ahead, no problem –

You can defer to a later start date and we’ll reserve your spot for that session. Remember, our team is here to support you throughout the admissions process. Nervous about anything or need help?
